An Accidental Bushman Reviews

Ross - sounds like you've gone down the road less travelled and lived to tell the tale. I look forward to seeing your stories getting mainstream media attention in the near future. New Zealand needs to know more about these experiences from the people who have lived them. All the best, Rowan

'An Accidental Bushman' details the early life of the author, Ross Lockyer, his early life in New Zealand and how he became forever a keen hunter gatherer. In the book Ross tells of how he trained in the New Zealand forestry service. As with his previous books, this one has many interesting photos from Ross's life, with places he has been, and friends he has made along the way. Ross tells about his growing up, his school life, possum hunting, catching eels and lampreys, working on farms, crayfish pulled from rock pools at low tide, deer hunting, and early vehicles he has owned. A thoroughly entertaining autobiography!
